Ingredients

Cruffins
  • 1 sheet puff pastry thawed if frozen
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter melted
  • 2 tbsp parmesan cheese grated
Garlic Butter Glaze
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter melted
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley finely chopped
  • 0.25 tsp salt

Method

Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and generously grease a standard muffin tin with butter or non-stick spray.
  2. Roll out the thawed puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface into a neat rectangle.
  3. Brush the surface of the puff pastry evenly with 2 tablespoons of melted butter and sprinkle with the grated parmesan cheese.
  4. Slice the pastry lengthwise into 6 equal strips, then roll each strip tightly into a spiral shape to form the cruffins.
  5. Place each rolled cruffin upright into the prepared muffin tin cups.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 18 to 20 minutes, or until the pastry is puffed, golden brown, and cooked through.
  7. While the cruffins are baking, mix the remaining melted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and salt in a small bowl.
  8. Remove the cruffins from the oven and immediately brush them generously with the garlic herb butter before serving warm.

Notes

For an extra cheesy kick, add a pinch of mozzarella or sharp cheddar inside the rolls before shaping.
