Ingredients

Pigs in a Blanket
  • 1 can Cinnamon Rolls Refrigerated, any brand that unravels
  • 15 to 20 Sausage Links Cooked, regular or turkey
Maple Glaze
  • 4 Tablespoons Butter Melted
  • 1/4 cup Maple Syrup
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar

Method

Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit (160 degrees Celsius). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Carefully unravel each of the cinnamon rolls. Cut each cinnamon roll into 3 or 4 equal pieces, depending on the size of your sausage links and desired yield.
  3. Wrap one piece of cinnamon roll dough around each sausage link, ensuring it's fully enclosed. Place the wrapped sausages on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the cinnamon roll dough is golden brown and cooked through.
  5. While the pigs in a blanket are baking, prepare the maple glaze. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter and maple syrup.
  6. Gradually add the powdered sugar to the butter and maple syrup mixture, whisking until the glaze is smooth and combined with no lumps.
  7. Once the breakfast pigs in a blanket are out of the oven, let them cool slightly. Drizzle the prepared maple glaze generously over the top.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy the sweet and savory combination!

Notes

These can be assembled ahead of time and baked just before serving. For a less sweet option, you can omit the glaze or use a smaller amount. Ensure sausage links are fully cooked before wrapping.
