  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar optional, for extra sweetness

Method
 

  1. Crush: Place Valentine Oreos in a food processor and process until finely crushed. Reserve about 1/4 cup for topping. Alternatively, place them in a zip lock bag and crush them with a rolling pin.

  2. Combine: In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with powdered sugar (if using) until smooth and creamy.

  3. Mix: Gently fold in the crushed Oreos until evenly distributed throughout the cream cheese.

  4. Chill: Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the mixture to firm up slightly.
  5. Shape: Roll the chilled mixture into 1-inch balls.
  6. Coat: Roll each ball in the reserved crushed Oreos.
