Method
 

  1. Preheat: Set the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a small bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.

  3. Cream Butter and Sugar: In a larger bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

  4. Add Egg and Vanilla: Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
