Ingredients
  

For the Cake Truffle Filling:
  • 2 cups Strawberry Cake, crumbled use Strawberry Cake Truffles Recipe
  • 4 oz Cream Cheese softened
  • 1/4 cup Strawberry Jam
For the Chocolate Coating:
  • 12 oz White Chocolate Chips
  • 1 tbsp Coconut Oil
Optional Toppings:
  • Sprinkles
  • Freeze-dried Strawberries, crushed

Equipment

  • Double Boiler
  • Microwave
  • Fork or Dipping Tools

Method
 

  1. Crumble the Strawberry Cake into a bowl until you have fine crumbs.
    2 cups Strawberry Cake, crumbled
  2. Add the softened cream cheese and strawberry jam to the bowl with the cake crumbs. Mix until thoroughly combined and a dough forms.
    4 oz Cream Cheese, 1/4 cup Strawberry Jam
  3. Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Refrigerate the truffles for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  5. Melt the white chocolate chips and coconut oil in a double boiler or microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.

  6. Dip each chilled truffle into the melted chocolate, ensuring it's fully coated. Use a fork or dipping tools to remove and let excess chocolate drip off.
  7. Immediately sprinkle with sprinkles or crushed freeze-dried strawberries, if desired.

  8. Place the dipped truffles back on the parchment-lined baking sheet and refrigerate for another 15-20 minutes, or until the chocolate is set.
