Spicy Southern Chicken Spaghetti Casserole

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound spaghetti
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 10.75 ounce condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 10 ounce diced tomatoes and green chilies, undrained (like Ro-Tel)
  • 8 ounce cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional red pepper flakes for extra spice

Method
 

  1. Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

  2. In a large bowl, combine the cooked chicken, cream of chicken soup, diced tomatoes and green chilies, softened cream cheese, milk, onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
    2 cups cooked chicken, shredded, 10.75 ounce condensed cream of chicken soup, 10 ounce diced tomatoes and green chilies, undrained (like Ro-Tel), 8 ounce cream cheese, softened, 1/2 cup milk, 1/4 cup chopped onion, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  3. Add the cooked spaghetti to the bowl and stir until everything is evenly coated.
    1 pound spaghetti
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top of the casserole. If you like it spicy, you could add red pepper flakes!

  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the casserole is heated through.
  7. Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
