  • 2 black tea bags
  • 1.5 cups whole milk
  • 2 tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 0.5 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 0.25 tsp ground ginger
  • 0.25 tsp ground cardamom
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla extract

  1. In a small saucepan, bring the water to a gentle boil over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the tea bags, cinnamon, ginger, and cardamom to the water; reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes to infuse the flavors.
  3. Remove the tea bags and stir in the maple syrup and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. In a separate container, heat the milk until steaming and use a frother to create a thick foam.
  5. Divide the spiced tea concentrate between two mugs, filling each about halfway.
  6. Pour the frothed milk over the tea and garnish with an extra pinch of cinnamon if desired.

Notes

For a deeper flavor, you can simmer whole spices like star anise or cloves with the tea and strain them out before serving.
