Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons salted butter
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 bag frozen corn 16 oz; gold n’ white or sweet yellow
  • 2 ounces cream cheese cut into small chunks
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Equipment

  • Large Skillet

Method

  1. Place a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the salted butter and honey to the pan.
2 tablespoons salted butter, 2 tablespoons honey
  2. Stir the butter and honey together until they are completely melted and combined.
  3. Add the bag of frozen corn to the skillet. Cook for 5 to 8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the corn is heated through and tender.
    1 bag frozen corn
  4. Drop the cream cheese chunks into the skillet and sprinkle in the salt and black pepper.
2 ounces cream cheese, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  5. Stir the mixture constantly for about 3 to 5 minutes. The cream cheese will melt and create a thick, creamy glaze over the corn.
  6. Once the sauce is smooth and the corn is well-coated, remove from heat and serve immediately.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 to 4 days. Reheat in a small skillet over low heat, adding a teaspoon of water or milk if the sauce is too thick.
