Ingredients
  

For the Chicken:
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
For the Honey Butter Sauce:
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce low sodium
  • 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic minced
  • red pepper flakes optional, pinch
  • Sesame seeds for garnish
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Method
 

  1. Prep the Chicken: In a medium bowl, combine the flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Dredge the chicken pieces into the flour mixture, ensuring they are evenly coated.

  2. Cook the Chicken: Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the floured chicken, being careful not to overcrowd the pan. Cook for 6-8 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden brown and cooked through

  3. Make the Honey Butter Sauce: In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes (if using). Bring the sauce to a simmer.Cook for 1-2 minutes, or until slightly thickened.
