High Protein Honey Garlic Shrimp

A quick and easy recipe for High Protein Honey Garlic Shrimp that's ready in minutes and packed with flavor.

Ingredients
  

Shrimp
  • 1 pound Shrimp peeled and deveined
Honey Garlic Sauce
  • 1/4 cup Honey
  • 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger grated
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes (optional)
Other
  • 1 tablespoon Oil (vegetable or olive oil works well)
Garnish
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame Seeds
  • 2 tablespoons Chopped Green Onions

Equipment

  • Small Bowl
  • Large Skillet or Wok

Method
 

  1. In a small bowl, mix together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, and red pepper flakes (if using).
    1/4 cup Honey, 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce, 3 cloves Garlic, 1 teaspoon Ginger, 1/4 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
  2. Heat the oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Make sure your pan is hot before adding ingredients.

  3. Add the shrimp to the hot skillet in a single layer. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until pink and opaque.

  4. Pour the honey garlic sauce over the shrimp and stir to coat. Cook for another 1-2 minutes, until the sauce thickens slightly. Keep stirring!
  5. Remove from heat and sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped green onions. Serve immediately over rice, quinoa, or your favorite sides.
