In a small bowl, mix together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, and red pepper flakes (if using).

Heat the oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Make sure your pan is hot before adding ingredients.

Add the shrimp to the hot skillet in a single layer. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until pink and opaque.

Pour the honey garlic sauce over the shrimp and stir to coat. Cook for another 1-2 minutes, until the sauce thickens slightly. Keep stirring!
Remove from heat and sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped green onions. Serve immediately over rice, quinoa, or your favorite sides.
