Ingredients

  • 2 cups Greek yogurt or dairy-free yogurt of choice
  • 2.5 tablespoons ranch seasoning 2 to 2.5 tbsp, or one store-bought packet
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded; or dairy-free shredded cheese
  • 1/2 cup bacon crumbled; regular or turkey bacon
  • 1/2 cup green onions chopped
  • Assorted dippers cucumbers, bell peppers, crackers, or chips

Method

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt and the ranch seasoning. Stir the mixture until the seasoning is well blended into the yogurt base.
2 cups Greek yogurt, 2.5 tablespoons ranch seasoning
  2. Add the shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, and chopped green onions to the bowl.
1 cup cheddar cheese, 1/2 cup bacon, 1/2 cup green onions
  3. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly until they are evenly distributed throughout the dip.
  4. Cover the bowl and refrigerate the dip for at least 1 hour. This allows the ranch flavors to meld and the texture to set.
  5. Before serving, give the dip a quick stir and top with additional crumbled bacon and green onions for a fresh presentation.
  6. Serve alongside your favorite dippers like pretzels, veggie sticks, or potato chips.

Notes

For the best texture, I recommend shredding your own cheddar cheese from a block rather than using pre-shredded cheese. Always make sure to let the dip chill for the full hour, as the flavors intensify significantly during this time.
