Garlic Parmesan Cheeseburger Bombs

Ingredients
  

Filling
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese or cheese of choice
Dough
  • 1 (10 ounce) can refrigerated pizza dough (or homemade)
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Method
 

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well with your hands until evenly combined.

  2. Cook the meat in a skillet over medium heat until browned evenly. Drain off any excess grease.

  3. Stir in the cheddar cheese until melted and combined. Remove the pan from the heat.

  4. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  5. Spread the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface. Cut the dough into 12 equal pieces.

  6. Flatten each piece of dough into a circle. Place a spoonful of the beef mixture in the center of each circle.

  7. Bring the edges of the dough up and over the filling, pinching to seal tightly. Don't leave any opening in sealing,

  8. In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, grated Parmesan cheese, and parsley.

  9. Turn the dough seam-side down and place on the prepared baking sheet leaving some space in between of each.

  10. Brush the mixture over the top of the dough covering the upper part.

  11. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
