Garlic Butter Cheeseburger Rollups

A quick, healthier, and fun twist on the classic cheeseburger, featuring seasoned ground beef and melted cheese in a golden, buttery crust.

Ingredients
  

Filling
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup finely diced onion optional
Rollups
  • 13.8 ounce refrigerated pizza dough
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley optional
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish optional

Method
 

  1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium-high heat. Drain off any excess grease.

  2. Stir in the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper into the browned ground beef. Reduce heat to medium.

  3. Add cheddar cheese and onion(if using)and stir until melted and incorporated.

  4. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Unroll pizza dough onto a lightly floured surface.
  5. Spread the meat mixture evenly over the pizza dough, leaving a small border.
  6. Carefully roll the dough tightly into a log shape.

  7. Use a sharp knife (preferably serrated) to cut the log into 1-inch thick slices.
  8. In a small bowl, combine the melted butter and minced garlic. Brush the tops of the rollups with half of the garlic butter mixture.

  9. Place the rollups on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  10. Brush the remaining garlic butter over the baked rollups and sprinkle with parsley(if using)and sesame seeds. Serve immediately and enjoy the deliciousness!
