  • 1/4 cup freeze-dried strawberries, crushed
  • 2 tablespoons strawberry cake mix powder

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Prep the cereal: Pour the Rice Chex cereal into a large bowl.

  2. Melt the chocolate: In another bowl, melt the white chocolate chips and butter in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth. Stir in vanilla extract.

  3. Coat the cereal: Pour the melted white chocolate over the Rice Chex cereal. Gently mix until the cereal pieces are evenly coated.

  4. Mix the coating: in a large ziplock bag, mix the powdered sugar, crushed freeze-dried strawberries, and strawberry cake mix powder together.

  5. Shake it: Add the coated cereal to the bag and shake vigorously until fully coated with the strawberry mixture.

  6. Chill: Spread the Fluffy Strawberry Shortcake Puppy Chow on a parchment-lined baking sheet and let it cool completely.
