Ingredients

  • 1 cup sliced frozen strawberries approximately 120g
  • 1 cup frozen raspberries or additional frozen strawberries if preferred
  • 1/4 cup milk of choice or canned coconut milk for extra creaminess
  • 1 1/2 tsp sugar or sweetener of choice (such as maple syrup or a pinch of stevia)
  • 2 tsp lemon juice to brighten the fruit flavors
  • 1/16 tsp salt to balance the sweetness

Equipment

  • High-speed blender
  • Piping bag (optional)

Method

  1. Place the frozen strawberries, frozen raspberries, milk of choice, sweetener, lemon juice, and salt into a high-speed blender or food processor.
1 cup sliced frozen strawberries, 1 cup frozen raspberries, 1/4 cup milk of choice, 1 1/2 tsp sugar, 2 tsp lemon juice, 1/16 tsp salt
  2. Pulse the ingredients a few times to break up the large frozen chunks, then blend on high until the mixture reaches a thick, creamy, soft-serve consistency. You may need to stop and scrape down the sides of the blender once or twice.
  3. For that classic Disney look, transfer the mixture into a large plastic freezer bag. Snip off one corner of the bag and squeeze the mixture through the hole into bowls using a circular motion to create a beautiful swirl.
  4. If the mixture is a bit too soft after blending, place the filled piping bag in the freezer for about 10 minutes before squeezing it into serving dishes.
  5. Enjoy your Easy Strawberry Dole Whip immediately while it is perfectly chilled and fluffy.

Notes

To achieve the best soft-serve texture, ensure your fruit is fully frozen before blending and do not skip the lemon juice for that authentic tang. If the mixture is too soft, place the piping bag in the freezer for 10 minutes before serving.
