  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil optional, for smoother melting
  • Valentine's Day sprinkles for decoration

Method
 

  1. Place Oreo cookies in a food processor and pulse until finely crushed. Alternatively, place them in a ziplock bag and crush with a rolling pin.

  2. In a large bowl, mix the crushed Oreos and softened cream cheese until well combined and a dough forms.

  3. Roll the Oreo mixture into 1-inch balls. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Refrigerate the Oreo balls for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  5. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips with coconut oil (if using) in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.

  6. Dip each chilled Oreo ball into the melted chocolate, ensuring it's fully coated. Use a fork or dipping tools for easy handling.

  8. Return the dipped truffles to the parchment-lined baking sheet.
  9. Refrigerate for at least 15 minutes to allow the chocolate to set completely.
