Ingredients
  

Base:
  • 1 package cream cheese 8 ounces, softened
  • 0.5 cup sour cream
Flavor:
  • 1 packet dry Ranch dressing mix 1 ounce
  • 0.25 cup chopped fresh chives
  • 0.25 cup chopped fresh parsley
Toppings:
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 0.5 cup crumbled cooked bacon
Serving:
  • crackers, baguette slices, or vegetables for dipping

Method
 

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sour cream. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add the Ranch dressing mix, chives, and parsley to the cream cheese mixture. Mix well until everything is evenly distributed.
  3. Spread the cream cheese mixture onto a serving platter or into a shallow dish.
  4. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon evenly over the cream cheese base.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  6. Serve cold with crackers, baguette slices, or your favorite vegetables for dipping.

Notes

Use fully softened cream cheese for smooth texture. Add toppings just before serving to maintain crispness. Can be assembled up to 24 hours in advance. For spicier version, add red pepper flakes or hot sauce. Serve with various crackers, bread, or vegetable sticks.
