Method
 

  1. Prepare the Rice: Choose your preferred method (stovetop, rice cooker, or Instant Pot) to prepare 2 cups of fluffy rice. For the stovetop, rinse 1 cup of rice under cold water, combine with 2 cups of water in a pot, bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer covered for 15 minutes.

  2. Brown the Beef: Place a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the ground beef. Break it apart with a spatula and cook until it is no longer pink, which usually takes about 5 to 7 minutes.
