Method
 

  1. In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
  2. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  3. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the milk, brown sugar, and cinnamon until well combined. This is your cinnamon swirl.
  4. Gently swirl the cinnamon mixture into the cream cheese mixture. Do not overmix. You want to create ribbons of cinnamon.
  5. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl.
  6. Sprinkle with optional toppings like chopped pecans or walnuts.
  7. Serve immediately with graham crackers, apple slices, or pretzels.

Notes

Make sure your cream cheese is fully softened. Don't overmix the cinnamon swirl; gently fold it into the cream cheese for a beautiful marbled effect. For an extra burst of flavor, try adding a pinch of nutmeg or cardamom to the cinnamon mixture. Chilling the dip for about 30 minutes before serving can enhance its flavors, but it's also delicious served immediately.
