  • red pepper flakes optional for heat

Instructions
  1. Gather all ingredients and prep vegetables if using.
  2. Add chicken broth, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to the crockpot.
  3. Add the tortellini and any optional ingredients like shredded chicken or baby spinach.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 3–4 hours, or until the tortellini is tender.
  5. Stir in the heavy cream during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
  6. Once finished, let the dish rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh herbs or red pepper flakes if desired.

Notes

To reheat leftovers, add a splash of broth to keep the sauce creamy. Freezing is not recommended as it affects the pasta texture.
