Creamy Crockpot Crack Chicken

  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 oz packet dry Ranch dressing mix
  • 1 8 oz package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth low sodium preferred
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6 slices cooked bacon, crumbled optional
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions for garnish (optional)

  • Hamburger buns or lettuce wraps for serving

Method
 

  1. Place chicken breasts in the bottom of your crockpot.
    2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  2. Sprinkle the Ranch dressing mix evenly over the chicken.

  3. Pour the chicken broth over the Ranch-covered chicken.

  4. Place the softened cream cheese on top of the chicken.

  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, or until chicken is easily shredded.
  6. Once the chicken is cooked, shred it directly in the crockpot using two forks.

  7. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon (if using). Mix until everything is well combined and cheese is melted.

  8. Garnish with chopped green onions, if desired.

  9. Serve immediately on hamburger buns or lettuce wraps. Enjoy!
