  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
Flavor Boosters
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix

  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Equipment

  • Large Bowl
  • Baking Dish
  • Oven

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise until smooth.
  3. Stir in the ranch dressing mix, crumbled bacon, cheddar cheese, green onions, garlic powder, and black pepper.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until bubbly and golden brown.
  6. Serve immediately with your favorite dippers.

Notes

Ensure your cream cheese is completely softened before mixing. If you're short on time, microwave it in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until it's easily pliable. Feel free to customize the recipe to your liking! Swap out cheddar for Monterey Jack or pepper jack for a spicier kick. For a vegetarian version, omit the bacon and add a can of drained and chopped artichoke hearts or sun-dried tomatoes. Don't overbake the dip, as it can become dry. Keep an eye on it and remove it from the oven as soon as it's bubbly and golden brown. For a smoky flavor, use smoked paprika instead of regular paprika.
