Notes

For the best Cracked Out Chicken Tater Tot Casserole experience, consider using rotisserie chicken to save time and add extra flavor. Don't be afraid to experiment with the cheese – Monterey Jack or a spicy pepper jack would also work great. If you're watching your sodium intake, use low-sodium soup and ranch dressing mix. To freeze the casserole, assemble it in a freezer-safe dish, cover tightly with plastic wrap and then aluminum foil, and freeze for up to 3 months. When ready to bake, thaw overnight in the refrigerator and bake as directed, adding an extra 10-15 minutes to the cooking time. You can also add veggies like steamed broccoli florets or corn to the chicken mixture for an extra boost of nutrients. Make sure the dish is heated all the way through before eating it, and let it cool before eating in order to avoid burning.
