- In a medium bowl, combine the finely crushed Oreo cookies and melted butter. Stir until well combined and the mixture resembles wet sand.
- Press about 1 tablespoon of the cookie mixture into the bottom of each of 6 dessert cups or glasses. Set aside.
- In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with the powdered sugar and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
- Gently fold the whipped heavy cream into the cream cheese mixture until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
- Spoon or pipe the cream cheese mixture evenly over the cookie crust in each dessert cup.
- Top each dessert cup with a generous dollop of whipped topping. Garnish with chopped Oreo cookies.
- Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld and the dessert to set.
Notes
For a quicker version, you can skip the cream cheese layer and simply layer crushed cookies with whipped topping and chopped cookies. Ensure cream cheese is fully softened for a smooth filling.
