Ingredients
  

For the Cookie Crumble
  • 24 cookies Oreo cookies or other chocolate sandwich cookies, finely crushed
  • 4 tablespoons butter melted
For the Creamy Filling
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 0.5 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy cream whipped to stiff peaks
For Assembly
  • 1 cup whipped topping thawed, such as Cool Whip
  • 12 cookies Oreo cookies chopped, for garnish

Method
 

Instructions
  1. In a medium bowl, combine the finely crushed Oreo cookies and melted butter. Stir until well combined and the mixture resembles wet sand.
  2. Press about 1 tablespoon of the cookie mixture into the bottom of each of 6 dessert cups or glasses. Set aside.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with the powdered sugar and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  4. Gently fold the whipped heavy cream into the cream cheese mixture until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  5. Spoon or pipe the cream cheese mixture evenly over the cookie crust in each dessert cup.
  6. Top each dessert cup with a generous dollop of whipped topping. Garnish with chopped Oreo cookies.
  7. Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld and the dessert to set.

Notes

For a quicker version, you can skip the cream cheese layer and simply layer crushed cookies with whipped topping and chopped cookies. Ensure cream cheese is fully softened for a smooth filling.
