Slice the chicken sausage into bite-sized pieces.

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sausage and cook until browned.

Add the onion and bell pepper to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Stir in the garlic and cook for 1 minute more.

Pour in the diced tomatoes (undrained) and add the cannellini beans, oregano, and red pepper flakes (if using). Season with salt and pepper.

Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 10-15 minutes, or until the flavors have melded.
