Chicken Alfredo Sloppy Joes

Ingredients
  

For the Chicken Alfredo Sauce:
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 15 ounces Alfredo sauce
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley for garnish
For the Sloppy Joes:
  • 6 hamburger buns split and toasted

Method
 

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground chicken and cook, breaking it apart with a spoon, until browned.

  2. Stir in the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for another minute until fragrant.

  3. Pour in the Alfredo sauce and bring to a simmer.

  4. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 5-7 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened slightly.
  5. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.

  6. Spoon the Chicken Alfredo Sloppy Joes mixture onto the toasted hamburger buns.

  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately. Enjoy!
