Ingredients
  

For the Burger Patties:
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
For the Base:
  • 4 cups shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup cooked quinoa (or rice)
For the Toppings:
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cup red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup dill pickle slices
  • 1/4 cup burger sauce (ketchup, mayonnaise, mustard mixed)
  • optional: Avocado, bacon bits

Method
 

  1. Prepare the Patties: In a medium bowl, combine ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.

  2. Cook the Patties: Form the mixture into four patties. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook patties for 5-7 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
  3. Assemble the Bowls: Divide the lettuce and cooked quinoa (or rice) evenly among four bowls.

  4. Add the Patty: Place a cooked burger patty on top of the lettuce and quinoa (or rice) in each bowl.

  5. Load on the Toppings: Add cherry tomatoes, red onion, cheddar cheese, pickle slices and burger sauce to each bowl.
