- In a medium bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, chopped basil, minced garlic, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

Notes
Use ripe Roma tomatoes for best flavor and texture. Don't skip the refrigeration step as it allows flavors to meld. Experiment with different balsamic vinegars or add red pepper flakes for extra kick. Also great with pita chips, pretzel crisps, or vegetable sticks.
