  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 0.5 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 0.5 cup pickled jalapenos finely diced
  • 0.25 cup green onions thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix cream cheese and mayonnaise until smooth.
  3. Stir in cheddar cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, jalapenos, green onions, garlic powder, and black pepper.
  4. Pour mixture into a baking dish.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.
  6. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Shred your own cheese for better melting. Adjust jalapeno amount to control spice level. Add smoked paprika for smokier flavor. Let dip rest a few minutes before serving for flavors to meld. Serve with tortilla chips, pretzels, or vegetable sticks.
