  • Oven
  • Baking Sheet
  • Large Bowl

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice the potatoes into uniform 1/4-inch thick rounds.
  3. In a large bowl, toss the potato slices with olive oil.
  4. Add garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, oregano, cayenne pepper (if using), salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  5. Spread the seasoned potato slices in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot with your desired dipping sauce.

Notes

For optimal crispiness, soak potato slices in cold water for 30 minutes before baking to remove excess starch. Ensure oven is fully preheated. Use a perforated baking sheet for better air circulation. Experiment with different seasonings like ranch or Italian herbs. Serve with dipping sauces or as a side for grilled meats.
