Ingredients
  

For the Dip:
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 0.5 cup mayonnaise
  • 0.25 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 0.25 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 0.25 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
  • salt and pepper to taste
For the Topping:
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 0.25 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 0.25 cup chopped fresh parsley

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, parsley, and red pepper flakes (if using). Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Spread the mixture evenly in a baking dish.
  4. In a small bowl, combine olive oil and minced garlic for the topping.
  5. Drizzle the garlic oil mixture over the cream cheese mixture.
  6. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and parsley.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.
  8. Serve immediately with baguette slices, crackers, or vegetables.

Notes

Use room temperature cream cheese for smooth blending. Finely mince garlic and use fresh herbs for best flavor. Watch carefully while baking and tent with foil if browning too quickly. Experiment with different cheese blends like mozzarella or asiago. Store leftovers in refrigerator for up to 3 days.
