Ingredients
  

  • 1 package Aldi crescent roll dough
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 0.5 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 packet dry Ranch dressing mix
  • 0.5 cup finely chopped broccoli florets
  • 0.5 cup finely chopped red bell pepper
  • 0.5 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • green food coloring optional
  • assorted veggies for decoration cherry tomatoes, olives, yellow bell pepper strips, broccoli florets

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Unroll crescent roll dough onto a baking sheet.
  3. Mix cream cheese, mayonnaise, and Ranch dressing mix in a bowl. If desired, add a few drops of green food coloring for a festive shade.
  4. Stir in broccoli, red bell pepper, and cheddar cheese.
  5. Spread cream cheese mixture evenly over the crescent roll dough.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  7. Let cool slightly. Cut into a triangle to resemble a Christmas tree.
  8. Decorate with cherry tomatoes, olives, yellow bell pepper strips, and broccoli florets to create a Christmas tree design.

Notes

Finely chop vegetables for even distribution. Don't overbake the crescent dough to keep it pliable. For extra golden-brown finish, brush with egg wash before baking. Serve with dips like hummus or lemon-herb aioli. Can be cut into smaller triangular slices for easier serving.
